uncovering what's beneath the silence
who marked their initials on sand
camouflaged beneath the lines
of their strenuous futile lives
whose darkness both were only what they see
marking the world's superficiality
and then a brightness slipped in
a shade that remained as a symbol
that there is something more
that there is something to look for
and what they found
was something that erased those lines
what they found have
placed all the darkness behind.

As lovely as your art-piece is my dear, the narrative is even more intriguing.
Have the two people left their darkness behind because they have found each other? Are they the sources of light for each other?
"A brightness slipped in/A shade that remained as a symbol" The animacy of the light and the shadow that comes with it...I love this line
i love this one. a lot. it clearly reflects the true meaning of love.
am i not right?
ooh if there is another couple who i know would understand this perfectly, it's you and chaos! hehe ;D
aristocrat.. thanks for sharing your thoughts on this...
and to answer those queries, let's just say although darkness may seem to loom over oneself, there is no enough reason to get preoccupied by it. for having darkness gives a reason for light to exist.
great progression, both in your words and images...actually the first drawing is absolutely beatiful to me with its quietness, simplicity and strenght...tnx for visiting my blog, nice to hear from you!
hmm.. well, actually, the first drawing is symbolic. 8)
