    the twisted thoughts turned once

Exactly a year ago, a blog was born.
It was a brain child of a lost soul
searching for a valid reason to live.
    It held unto secrets
    conveyed through disgruntled words,
    riddles and linguistic figures.
It still lives on to that root tho,
and flashes of dementia still reign.
But after a year of existence,
for an observant and a frequent reader,
    one would notice some changes
that went thru different twists and phases.
    It remained dark,
but somehow the gloom has gradually
    disappeared.

Walking souls that the creator knows from real life,
    have treaded along some pages.
And untraced steps have yet to be unearthed.
    Nonetheless,
it was always and have been,
    the pleasure of the creator
    to share her thoughts,
    however twisted or not,
    confusing or pointless,
    or simply eye burning
    due to the darkness
wrapping the whole set of texts and images.

And from this side of the world,
    this little corner
that once laid the corpse of an unpleasured being,
a soul swirling into different spaces of time,
traveled through lightyears of indifference and learning,
wandered through the created worlds of others,
left a mark or left nothing,
it gave birth to a new twilight,
    to a new sunrise,
    as that of
    night is to day,
    tears is to smile,
    and
    death is to life.

    So in celebration
of the great defeat of melancholy and anxiety,
a new-found chaos may give way,
    may continue..
but its a chaos of bright lights and brain stimulants.
    exploding through waves,
    floating through the sky.
For within these four brick walls,
    now embeds countless windows,
    shedding enough light,
    enough brightness,
    enough space..
    to see what's outside.

Thank You all for being those windows.

    Illo Friday: Free

    Free Your Mind!

    .
    (detailed lines excluded from original)
    Eros and Psyche

    i await
    thru the dying night
    your eternal shadow
    that looms within no light

    settling to the ivory
    of your tampered embrace
    i live with the satisfaction
    of not seeing
    but being
    but feeling..

    thru warm breezes
    that occupy the mind
    silent steps
    of invisibility
    i torment
    i decline

    for time i cannot wait
    and time have consumed
    this concurrent faith
    an eon of separation
    and the distance
    one could not forbear

    is this our veto?
    is this our fate?
    a reparation through time
    that no one can dictate?

and so i search for your touch
    through the sleep of death
    that Olympus had enough
    they set you free
    to bestow upon us
    an awakening
    celestially combined

    with an endless beginning
    that need not any word
    just the presence,
    just mere existence,

    ceasless

    evolving

    immortal.

story behind the illo: pure coincidence. after tampering with one of my latest photos, i ended up seeing images beyond what was originally visible. edited thru picassa.

story behind Eros and Psyche: there are countless interpretations and versions of their story. and i applied mine with the vision of being in one of their shoes, dabbing some personal notes. for those who wanna read more, here's a summary other than wikipedia. Story included in The Golden Ass by Apuleius. Which reminded me to add this to my wishlist.

last note: oops.. decided this is better suited for the topic "Free" at It's a late entry at Strength anyway. Pls click image for better view.

Do you see what i see?

    Further

    let me move closer
    let my shadow move
    as the blue horizon
    wrap our worlds apart
as we have yet to dream
    but another dream
and we have yet to chose
    but another fight
    to hold on
    or let go..

death may not be the end
    but a beginning.

And we find strength in the hope that when someone passed away it doesnt necesarily mean we shall never see that person again... who knows! This is for those who recently felt grief, and this is also for my mom. Even if we are lifetimes apart, i hold on to her, as she was, still, and will be, my strength.

note: alas, another photo i took while travelling. here, i used a little highlight and shadow effect thru picassa. but i promise to make an illo for this week. i just had this urge to post this for topic: Strength

    In Dreams

Sometimes it makes me wonder.. how a soul really travel thru dreams.

How can it be possible to dream of a place one has never been to? Or how could one dream of a person across oceans with that same person dreaming of the other, at almost the same time. Is it a vice versa tranced traveling wormhole? Or a channeling tube of energy drawing both souls together, magnetizing them? Is it because the other person is embeded within one's subconscious that in dreams they re-appear more vividly? Are these dreams subliminal messages of a future event? Or are dreams portals where the souls actually meet?

Sometimes the Book of Dreams do not hold the answers. Some things remain but a mystery. A Moogie *.* Mystery...

note: suppose to be a post for the 7th of this Month. Photo taken by me on the road, one of those accidental shots.

update: since i saw a couple of photo entries on Illo Friday, would it be ok if i submit this as my Night entry too? Well my Broken illo was suited for Night tho. waiting for the next topic that shall be shown any moment now.

    Illo Friday: Broken

    "Each day is a little life;
    every waking and rising a little birth;
    every fresh morning a little youth;
every going to rest and sleep a little death."

    - Arthur Schopenhauer

    515 x 630
    MS Paint

...maybe there is no life after death.. for death is the end of life. so why call it "life after death"? just wondering.. well that's a broken thought for y'all.. Happy Holloween! };p

    -----
note: and yeah, it's never too late to celebrate that. although i think my illo is a li'l too late for "Broken" was last week's topic. It seems that the outcome of my illo didnt turned out as i planned. So was never satisfied, making tons of changes until i didnt realize the whole week has passed. Gee.. might as well post it anyway.

update: Oh nice.. as i opened IF page to submit my entry, it showed this week's topic is "Night" tssk.. can i make this a double entry? If i have time tho, i try to make another one for this week. Let's see...
