    Illo Friday: Tea

    Let’s Go Away For A While...

    We started a story whose end must not wait.
    We began a journey that founded new life.
    We spoke a message that bought revolutions to cease.
    We saw the unseen. We felt the gaiety of the unknown.
    The erotic confrontation that startled our worlds,
    has brought rainfalls and snowstorms pause and see.

    Now, the stars are watching. Now, the color of the sky is fading.
    You’ve come to the rescue of my demented soul
    and shouted to the oceans to halt.
    Tomorrows are of nothingness.
    Now is the time. Now is the crusade.
    I have lingered the lastingness of your taste.
    I have absorbed the essence of your energy.
    I have partaken the flesh of your being.
    I shall conquer the depths of your soul.

    And as I pour you once again in my thoughts,
    the sweet scent of your spirit, the enchantment it brings...
    I shall flutter my tongue and submit to your substance.
    I’ll do what I please.
    I shall endure the sensation, and soothe my agony.
    Your warmth... it twitches down my spine. I ache for you.
    I feel you to my bones, I feel you down my soul.
    I feel the numbness of my body as I feel you within.

    And finally I breathe deep and devour the alluring taste
    of your aura. Your aura that I shall want over and over,
    and over and over and over.
    Your aura that I shall... never force myself to forget.

    -----
    note: This collage of pictures I took and was given to me was inspired by something i wrote years back.
    It felt that finally, i have an image to perfectly fit my words, if not figuratively, literally.

    It's up to you what your eyes and senses can see.. it's up to you to judge or misjudge..

    This is my entry for collage was edited through Picassa and MS paint.

    Illo Friday - Song: "Help!"

    Help! by The Beatles

    900 x 600
    MS Paint

    I picked this song not just because I love the Beatles and they have been a big part of my life, influencing me in both art and music. But because I am spreading the word to those who would like to "help". (read details below)

    A recent tragedie happened in my country...

    The Horror:
    10 days of heavy rains;
    375 homes had disappeared;
    nearly 100 acres of land covered;
    100 feet of mud burried all houses, a school, and residents alive;
    250 pupils and teachers were at the school when this happened;
    only 1 child and 1 adult found nearby;
    83 people have been found alive;
    19 have been found dead;
    estimated 200 dead and 1,500 - 2,000 missing...

    2 other villages affected;
    3,000 evacuees huddled at a municipality hall;
    11 villages in Leyte evacuated due to landslide concerns...

    Now, mud covered all the houses that once stood in Guinsaugon, in the town of St Bernard on the island of Leyte, Southern part of the Philippines.

    Greenpeace said illegal logging may prove to have contributed to the mudslide. Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies blamed a combination of the weather and the type of trees prevalent in the area.

    ---
    Sometimes, I feel I am lucky that I don't live near/at places as these, nor know anyone who lived there. But I feel for them, as they are as well my brothers and sisters... and so are yours!

    Prayers are not the only thing they need right now, also Help!

    Valentine Santa

    Last Christmas, I joined the Secret Santa, that was the brainchild of writer Jeremy Shipp. But the holiday caught me in unexpected circumstances that made me both miss the holiday in the blogsphere and the walking world. Yeah, I spent those days in the hospital again, like last year and the year before that. Anyway..

    I got this lovely frost photo from my Secret Santa, Alison Ashwell, who gave me this because I have Holland in my mind and the snow there is not possible where I really am. I really haven't expressed my gratitude to her yet, so Thanks! I like it!

    Now my appologies to my "baby" last Christmas who I wasn't able to visit nor give a gift. The rule was to give a gift, in any form, poetry, illustration, photo to the randomly selected/appointed blogger, in any holiday. I guess Valentine's is the holiday of the hearts, so.. here is my little present to Kristi.

    Kristi's blog is about her adventure with little Aveline. Now I heard she is expecting another little one to add to their adorable pack. Hope this photo is a reminder that all things are special and every little angel is too. As it was a reminder to me of my Special One *.* too.

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone...

    -----
    note: so move over those cursors to the blogs mentioned above and spread the Valentine fever... hehe

    and as i thought of it more...

    i feel its becoming reality...

    Don't Close Your Eyes

    as i hear the -
      leaves crash to the wind
      walls of echoes
      paint my deserted room
      the linen adrift
      flying floating
      as cold whispers
      wrap my whole being

    as i close my -
      eyes in deep longing
      i float more lighter
      almost liquifying
      swimming to that shadow
      to drink the poison
      of its undying spell
      drown my head in compassion

    as i feel the -
      whole world spinning
      catch the waves tightly holding
      take me to the other side
      carry me.. carry me..
      and let me continuosly fly
      as the breeze swallow me
      in one big.. deep.. sigh

    -----
    art note: found this painting in one of my folders. "Daybreak" (1922) by Maxfield Parrish

    poetry note: wrote this half falling asleep, half forcing myself to wake. but i can't. and all i can do is move my hands to write, and set my mind to fly...

    Illo Friday: Chair

    By Whispers, A Glance

    in your little corner the waves of your hair cover you
    pale innocent eyes wrapped in tender coldness
    the night side embraces you with wideness and wild
    tamed by the gentle laughter of a foreign realm
    filming through my own unrecordable sight
    i glance in sideways showering sigh
    lost in the absence of sound i then watch you
    penetrate the air with uncontrollable nothingness
    in binding silence you seem to understand
    every shadow that pass by and every plight
    you are the saviour in your little corner
    crossing out the choices on the paper of life
    the assurance now depends on the quality of your turns
    as every glance count and save what you earn
    and behind you i just watch and hover by
    not able to push forth not able to touch
    but you know thru my eyes how i would stay
    cemented to my seat and just glancing sideways.

    Photo Friday: Vanity

    and the glamour of the city
    shall one day fade away
    corrupted souls
    uncanny woes
    shall then bathe the streets
    with echoes

    and the vanity of the pavements
    shall one day crumble
    crash down the underground
    with pieces of jealousy
    and teardrops of lament

    and the dictates of the void
    lay upon the beast of time
    entrenched sorrow
    banging in heartless ensemble
    racing to the oblivion of crime

    and the sorrow of the wicked
    shall overrule
    taste the darklands of torture
    lay in anxiety and unending conceit
    watch in stillness
    and absorb its beat

    as this city shall come forth -
    and one day fade away..

    -----
    note: this was suppose to be my contribution to Photo Friday (for the topic 'Vanity') and Illo Friday (for the subject 'Glamour') last week. I took this pic and edited thru Picassa.

    But it's too late to post the links tho. This week was too busy for me, I just got a job which only offered night shifts, so no time for my blog then. And during the day, I hide in between my cusions and grab myself as much sleep as I needed. My appologies for the late postings...
