Photo Friday: Stillness
Silence in the Sky
but it was a warm day and the night was clear
the wind was damp as invisible droplets
float by the air
and the sky, bare and cloudless
i stand and wait to see the first star
i could almost touch
the scent of flowers floating in the air
i taste the air with warm shadows
as i rest my wings a moment
because there was no wind
still waters carpet the sea
as i glance at little ripples
silently moving towards my feet
a sudden laugh filled the air
as i look by the distance
to find you.. just there
staring back at me.

i get the error message there too, hopefully they are just revamping the site as it always took a long time to download - and I have cable; so it must be extremely slow on dial up
gee.. dial up is indeed extremely slow.. thats what im using at home. and too bad my job forbids use of internet.. hope the B&W site would be up again..

the rooster on the rooftop reminds me of the mornings in Laguna twenty something ago; when I was forced to wake up before the break of dawn to sweep our guava fenced backyard before I go to school.
I miss the sound of mornings back home.

"still waters carpet the sea..." i like that one velvet. nice picture ohhh i miss the sunrise and sunset over there.....
well to be honest i miss watching the sunset and sunrise here too.. my job is keeping me.. i wake up when the sun have already set, and i go home when the sun is already way up..
