when you wake

but you don't want to leave

you come back
wanting to see more
wanting to get hold
and again and again
it doesnt stop
you can almost reach
you can almost feel
as it grabs you tight
you drown in heat
whatever you do
you float in desire
you won't ever let go
you got lost in
slow thundering space
you found perfection
wrapped in the freezing sun
and you taste it
and you lay on sand
you feel the waves come
a melting serene stance
splash, dream, float...
now you take oath
to never ever leave
and here you stayed.

What a gorgeous spot! The poem above reminds me of how I felt this morning...trying to wake up but wanting to keep dreaming. I still feel groggy...good thing I'm on vacation this week! I love the blues of this illustration. It reminds me of the first time I saw the Caribbean water...I had always dreamed about water that color, and there it was! I actually started to cry because it was beautiful!
oh.. been feeling that lots of times too.. like i don't wanna wake up or stand up! lol ..Havent seen the Caribbean for real yet.. but i guess such a beauty will melt my heart too!
