    Lens Day Challenge: Peaceful

waiting for the sun to set

in the stillness of the moment
his brightness radiate by the distance
one of those gleams of genial fire
    that darted across all oceans

from a standpoint of her dillydally life
    whom was once aquainted only
    with the grey twilight
now saw that there is more truth
    to admit than be inclined

    so unlike the calm lake,
she danced and sparkled and prattled
    in a no nonsense senibility
awaiting his fire to come closer-
gaining the shadow of his presence
    in a forbidden proximity

and wraped in the blinding light they float
    slowly burning the velvet horizon
    with the scene of life
    that passes before the eye

    they create, destroy and restore
    over and over and over
and as they let go of their last breath,
a final etch painted across the sky..

that their passion shall burn forever.

note: this is a photo for those who miss Tagaytay.

    Photo Friday: Fast

    just a quick post..

Sidewalking - The Jesus and Mary Chain

Chilled to the bone and five miles to home
I'm messing in the dark and feeling all alone
I got ice in my fire got the heat in my wire
Inject a little heat I'm burning up the tyres
    Sidewalking
Talking like I'm on and I'm the only one
I'm making like I'm done and staring like a gun
    Sidewalking
And I got to get a car
And I got to get a ride
    Gotta get a car
    Got jesus on my side
Messing in the dark and walking all alone in
    The streets
    Know just where I'm going
    Sidewalking
    Chilled to the bone
Hotwired heat all the way home

    Photo Friday: Peaceful

Sweet, I blame you not, for mine the fault was,
had I not been made of common clay
I had climed the higher heights unclimed yet,
seen the fuller air, the larger day.

From the wilderness of my wasted passion
I had struck a better, clearer song,
Lit some lighter light of freer freedom,
    battled with some Hydra-headed wrong.

Had my lips been smitten into music by the kisses
    that but made them bleed,
You had walked with Bice and the angels
on that verdant and enamelled mead.

I had trod the road which Dante treading
saw the suns of seven circles shine,
Ay! perchance had seen the heavens opening,
as they opened to the Florentine...

...Keats had lifted up his hymenal curls
    from out the poppy-seeded wine,
With ambrosial mouth had kissed my forehead,
clasped the hand of noble love in mine.

And at springtide, when the apple-blossoms brush
the burnished bosom of the dove,
Two young lovers lying in an orchard
would have read the story of our love.

Would have read the legend of my passion,
known the bitter secret of my heart,
Kissed as we have kissed, but never parted
as we two are fated now to part...

note: excerpts of a the most beautiful poem i have ever read.. and yet to know the title.. a poem written by Oscar Wilde.. and for that, a photo i had made when i was in the most beautiful peaceful place in the world..

    Lens Day Challenge: Ice

    At your feet i dreamt
on the other line i heard
how i lost contact with our reality
how our dreams left afloat in the background
now i am confessing of the wrongness i did
i am not worthy of your passion
but your undying touch has kept me alive
your fire has kept the warmth in my psyche
and that i did not see for a moment
for i got lost in a wrong turn and raindrops
    froze in my ice-cold confines,
    but here am i again
though was never gone, my injured soul was hanged
please dont let go of my hand
    pull me back again
    as you once did
wake me up from dreaming the off beam
catch me from my paralyzed transgression
    you are my faith
    you are my exaltation
with you i only want to be...

    -----
    note: yeah this is kinda off-topic. it's not literally "ice" but you know i am like that. so, for violent reactions please leave in comments section }:-}

    Illo Friday: Phoenix

    Cynical Silence

i see you wading at the water
in the equal twilight of the razor edge dust
    blows through the empty echoes
    silkening the mirrored sea
every single night a part of me dies
changing tossing what’s on my behalf
    no laughter can overflow
    no dance can ever color
    as i see myself fading
leaving myself in the tossing of the moon
    from back and beyond
falling down deep i don’t wanna see myself
trapped in the illusion of cynicism
of a cynical world you have created
of a world i stepped into
of the uncertainties i was willing to pursue

    holding…
    waiting…
    wanting…
    yearning…

but around me i film in steps
through the phoenix eyes i've seen
a belief that would never behold
and i am not naïve to not see
    a block of thorned oaths
without sympathy you ripped, slashed and shred
    blade-sharp folds and innate cuts
from innocent souls you stole -

    them holding…
    them waiting…
    them wanting...
    them yearning…

now i’ll leave you with that world
let me cross back to my time
let me go back to the crossroads of the wrong turn
before i get lost in your terrain
    before i fall further
    before it gets too late.

    -----
note: i know i didnt exactly drew a phoenix, but read between the lines and you'll see..
