Lens Day Challenge: Peaceful

waiting for the sun to set

in the stillness of the moment
his brightness radiate by the distance
one of those gleams of genial fire
that darted across all oceans

from a standpoint of her dillydally life
whom was once aquainted only
with the grey twilight
now saw that there is more truth
to admit than be inclined

so unlike the calm lake,
she danced and sparkled and prattled
in a no nonsense senibility
awaiting his fire to come closer-
gaining the shadow of his presence
in a forbidden proximity

and wraped in the blinding light they float
slowly burning the velvet horizon
with the scene of life
that passes before the eye

they create, destroy and restore
over and over and over
and as they let go of their last breath,
a final etch painted across the sky..

that their passion shall burn forever.
