Illo Friday: Fortune
sometimes in life,
the fates would lead you
to your unplanned destination,
it's not luck,
it's not coincidence,
it's simply inevitable.
and it's just a matter
of seeing,
feeling
and accepting
what comes...

note: to be honest, this is what my previous entry "when kaleidoscopes color the night" looked like before transforming it into patterns.
14 Park your thoughts here:
love the illustration
and the words are oh so true
cheers
thanks.. 8)
after finishing this piece alone
i thought something was missing
but then again
does it?
Nicely transformed then. I really like the fractured geometry going on here!
glad you liked it! at first i was thinking of posting this or make a new one. maybe i'll make another later tho.
Was fortune missing from your piece?
i like the colors, structure and the words. nice work, can I put you on the blogroll?
I have a great deal of difficulty to accept the fate concept. But I do like your illustration (and I prefer this version to the other one), especially the idea of piled ripped paper leafs eith different illustrations, that I get when looking at it.
miriam.. hmm.. fortune, fortunate.. luck.. etc.. well of course you can place a link to your blogroll.. although i hope you had placed a link to your blog here as well so i know where to find you. 8)
pequete.. well we all have different opinions about fate.. and thanks for appreciating this piece. and i like the "ripped paper leafs" theory.. hehe 8)
Very cool!! Nice variation on the "Green"!
Great quote too- the "seeing" and "feeling"/ awareness is pretty easy- but the acceptance is often the hurdle.
i believe in that too.. sometimes it takes alot more courage to accept what we see and feel.
btw, thanks for the comment 8)
Wise words. :-) And thanks for the comments with the other blog to check out. Very cool stuff! Have a wonderful weekend!!
I also enjoyed the words... I am one to sit around and wonder about things like coincidence, is it inevitable or luck, etc...
rrramone.. yeah when i saw it first thing that came to my mind - i think i found willie's soulmate - hehe..
thanks for droppin by..
annalee blysse.. basically i'd like to believe that there are no coincidences.. but sometimes of course there is always that thought.. hmm..
well thanks for the comment.. 8)
it seem like a mirror breaking slowly and revealing a fortune.
