scratches of illumina

she paved the way for brilliance
as i melt with insignificance
with eyes and stares shadowing my path
a slight chill of a passing glitch
as i turned sideways
to see nothing.

as midnight came crawling in the afterworld
slow as dust with the reposing wind
as the twilight enraptured within
placid and longing.

abet me to forget the pain
to learn invulnerablility;
with your mystic grip
touch me -
shield the antagonists away
beneathe the sun's unclouded light
taking over, conquering.

wanting to look beyond
i gaze with drenched eyes
and came to realize -

your presence, your beauty,
will forever remain..
and in death you still create
new roads --
growing, strengthening.

la nature morte en un peinture...

you are the still life in my painting,
in my picture,
in my eyes..

in my being.

Love your poem My Love, its beautiful

"your presence, your beauty,
will forever remain..
and in death you still create
new roads"

and then the french line is beautiful find/thought.

[btw babelfish translates it (nearly) opposite in dutch;
"de natuur die in verf is gestorven"
"Nature which died in paint"]

"colours are vibrating in their forms"
its full with life.

kissssss Ambres

Ambres sweetie.. thanks again for your lovely interpretation..

Sometimes i wonder how wonderful things don't last a lifetime. BUt the memories do.

And maybe nature died in paint for the sadness of beauty's departure. But like nature, a rebirth occurs. a new spring comes. It may not be exactly the same as the last time, but anticipating brightness but not forgetting the past makes one grow. And in growth, colours vibrates in their forms..

kissses back..

oh, and btw, yeah i dont trust babelfish that much. hee..

floots.. the stillness kept me in awe for quite sometime too.

dreaming-neko.. thanks for dropping by again. been a while indeed. brighter colors probably indicates brighter things ahead. just waiting in my corner to see..

Sen, Billy.. thanks! i aprreciate your time spent here.

My cling to the thoughts of my mom just strengthens this time of the year. ANd i feel i can never replace with words what she has done with acts..

i like the first part bout turning sideways and seeing nothing, someth i would have loved to write about. if the picture was taken at dusk or sunrise, it would have been perfect

x.. it is indeed not taken at dusk, for i do not see only the darkness of my mom's departure but the brightness that shines my way... hence, the photo i took.

LS.. thanks 8) and for the new layout i still need to make little changes tho.

isay.. thank you isay. and yeah christmas here is completely different from other countries. in fact, my sked is so hectic, going to Xmas programs, parties, even a wedding and a baptismal. i even have to allot a whole full day just to wrap gifts!

as for the crowd, the malls have tripled density of crowds indeed! with the shopping rush and mall sales.. woah! no time for blog updates too.. hehe
