illo friday: wrinkles
we dont need sound to feel
we dont need sight to see
you can see from miles and miles
without the need to open your eyes
just pause for a while
to feel what we cant see
those glittering gray eyes
would walk with me thru eternity..

AVS, this is fantastic. There is a retro feel to this. It reminds me of a travel journal and I can hear the footsteps.
ohh speaking of travel journals.. i brought one on my trip with full intention of writing and or sketching everyday.. but gee with so much to do and so many places to go.. i just dont have time for it..

well im still working on my new illo but i'll post it soon.. thanks for the visit..
Like the drawing and also the color choice.
This is such a great sketch! You've caught so much, giving the impression of having included a great deal of detail without actually having done so. Not that you didn't add detail, just that your well-placed lines and shading invite the viewer to fill in the more detail without even realizing that they're doing so. Or at least that's how it was for me.
paul maurice martin.. thanks! 8D
aravis.. ohh thank you for sharing your thoughts on this.. i must admit its the first time in about 2 years since i made a detailed sketch again.. and since this is in pen there are no room for erasures.. (so one might chance upon a few mistakes) but im still satisfied with the outcome and even proud of it (i even have this displayed on my office desk) lol..
